Shell access
We also offer shell access on request with any of our hosting packages.
Shell access gives you an old-style, command line interface to a Unix
server running NetBSD. Shell access includes:
- Login access to our shell server running NetBSD
- SSH access
- Unfettered use of most shells (bash, zsh, tcsh, ksh, sh, etc)
- Text based network tools (nslookup, ping, traceroute, ftp, lynx, etc)
- C/C++ compilers and associated tools
- Scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc)
- Background/cron processes (some restrictions may apply)
- BSD and GNU shell tools
We provide these add-ons as well
- Extra mailbox: $3.00/month ($30.00/year)
- Managed mailing list: $2.50/month ($25.00/year)
- Extra transfer: $0.001/MB/month
- Extra storage: $0.050/GB/month
