2015-10-15 - System upgrades

At Vybe Networks we are dedicated to keeping our servers running at top efficiency and security. This includes installing software upgrades once we are satisfied with them. In this case we will be upgrading to NetBSD 7.0. We have already updated our administration server and it has been running fine. Over the next week or two we will be carefully installing to the rest of the servers one at a time. Disruption should be minimal but will involve at least two reboots on each server. A reboot takes about five minutes. We will make sure to do that late at night when the systems are quietest.

If you have any critical time windows coming up that you would prefer that we not take down a specific server even for a few minutes please let us know.
