2013-02-27 - Scam alert - Domain Registry of Canada
It seems that these guys just won't go away. This is a reminder that Domain Registry of Canada is NOT the registrar for Vex.Net. They are sending out letters that look like a government official domain name authority with a Canadian flag on their envelope. They also have the same color envelope that you would expect from Canadian Government.
The enclosed letter is actually an offer to transfer your domain away from Vex.Net but it has the appearance of a renewal form. Don't be fooled. They want to take your domain and charge you double or triple what Vex.Net charges.
Renewals for domains registered with Vex.Net are handled through our invoicing system. When your domain is getting close to the renewal date you will receive a normal invoice from us. Once the invoice is paid we will renew your domain.
